Beware while driving through Opelika, Alabama. While heading south on I-85 and stuck in traffic, we saw three cars who had been pulled over by the cops heading north. That’s not unusal except that all three were stopped within a quarter mile of each other. You usually don’t see that many victims in such close proximity.
A bit later we saw how. One cop camped out on the bridge and radioed his buddies (at least four of them) when he saw a speeder. Talk about having no warning. If we didn’t know to look for a cop hiding somewhere, we wouldn’t have noticed.
I guess they needed to raise some revenue. This makes Summersville, West Virginia, another reknowned speed trap, look fair. Eesh.
