Haven’t been up to a whole lot. Mostly just doing work and hanging out on weekends, as usual.Went to a house party with some folks last weekend. Lots of random drinks available, but wasn’t all that cool since everyone’s from work and well, they’re not particularly my kind of people. Getting stupidly drunk isn’t something I do as often after college, haha =PPlayed some Doom 3 lately. It makes my 9700Pro work its ass off, but its fucking beautiful. Too bad Far Cry is a better game overall, and I’d expect that Half-Life 2 will also be a better game. Regardless of the quality of the original game, the games of the next two years are going to be based on the Doom 3 engine, or the Far Cry engine. It’ll be time to upgrade video cards soon at this rate….Last Friday, work had an off site at a kid’s water park. Nothing much fun at all, hung out for lunch and then bailed =) My friend from Houston came back into town and we hung out all weekend, mostly just drinking and relaxing yesterday, and today we joined up with another friend to head out to the lake. Ran into some trouble with his boat, so ultimately we just ended up going swimming instead of cruising around the lake. Maybe next week it’ll be setup and we can hit the water next week. I’ll be sure to avoid the rocks =P
