Gotta move…again…
Last weekend before I move out of this place to my new apartment, about 5 miles down the street. A bit smaller, a good bit cheaper, and, um, yeah, thats about it. Eh, might as well move around to get the best deals I can while the apartment market is like half vacant or something.Moving sucks. Cleaned up my apartment like crazy this weekend, and moved stuff around in preparation for the move. At least it wasn’t as dirty as my places in Pittsburgh. Those places got pretty bad sometimes =) At least now I have time to clean a little bit so it doesn’t build up to something ridiculous over the course of a year. Still though, that took most of a day, and its not as good as I’d want. More like prep work for the real cleaning thats gonna have to come =(I’ll probably start moving over some of my stuff during the week so I don’t have to work so hard this coming weekend moving little dinky shit. Its gonna suck moving in 100+ degree weather, but there’s no real way around it. All well.So yeah, really didn’t do damn thing this weekend. Just cleaned up my place, hung out at a few places and chilled, and cleaned some more. It was hot as hell outside, so I never got the motivation to do much of anything outside. Its just gonna get hotter from here out too.Today kinda sucked. My poor car got a love tap from some asshole in the parking lot =( Scraped up my front bumper pretty good. Doesn’t look like it was really damaged to the point where I have to go get it fixed, but its fucking annoying anyways. All well, good thing I didn’t get a nicer car or there’d be hell to pay….Got a few episodes of the Chappelle’s Show on Comedy Central from the wonderous Internet. That show is fucking hilarious. That, Insomniac, Food Network, and Cartoon Network are the only things that might drag me back into the world of cable tv. But nah, I can get most of it off the Internet ^_^Another week at work starts in a few hours. At least the work has been interesting for the last few weeks. It’ll just get more interesting, until this project finishes this phase in mid July….one way or another….I need a vacation.

When you bring food to work, and leave it in the break room fridge, you’re trusting that the rest of the people on the floor are relatively good people. Good enough at least to not bother another person’s lunch (two sandwiches…)Nope.Revenge is a bitch. I hope he/she enjoys the sandwiches I’ll be leaving in the fridge from now on.

Spurs win!
So watched the NBA finals Friday and tonight. Spurs end up winning the championship. The whole series was kind of sad though….both teams didn’t really play all that well I thought. It was more of a contest of who sucked less, not which team was better. At least the Lakers didn’t make it in =PFriday, left work early to go to an off-site with the team I’m on now. It was pretty neat to be out on the lake…too bad a huge storm hit that afternoon. Lots of rain and lightning. The drive down was a long one, about 30-40 minutes. Lots of nice winding roads and so forth though, so at least it was fun to drive.Saturday, went to a Ziggy Marley concert. Not too bad I suppose, not huge into reggae but it was something to do. The ticket said the show started at 7pm, so we figured he would show up around 8pm or so. Nope, not until 10pm. That part sucked. It was pretty hot and humid outside too, which made things suck worse. Of course, the car’s A/C felt good as hell afterwards =)Lounged today, got some groceries, and didn’t really do all that much more. Lazy weekends rule, especially when its hot as hell outside. Have to move soon though, that’ll be a shitty weekend. At least I’ll be saving more $$ though. Not just from rent, from electric bills too. It’ll be cheaper to cool the place, which is always a good thing ^_^Ugh, work is a few hours way. This blows =P

Another weekend gone by..
This was a pretty chill weekend. Watched the game Friday night and saw the Spurs get beat pretty badly. Went out afterwards to Gingerman and had a few beers. They really do have some funky stuff there, but I still like the Hoegarden White =) They didn’t have it on tap that night though, so it was only the bottled stuff =( All well, still better than nothing.Chilled out on Saturday and went with folks from work to check out some MP3 players. Depending on how much running I end up doing at my next place, I might need to invest in one of these. Granted, I already have an MD player, but I’d rather run with something thats only $100 or so and has no moving parts over some $350 piece of equipment with moving parts. Hung out at the pool for the late afternoon since there was nothing else to do. Went home, watched SNL, passed out.Went to get some dim sum today. Supposedly it was the best in Austin. I stand by my assertion that Austin has shit for dim sum, and unless its Mexican food, shit for food in general. I have yet to be disproved.Watched Game 3 in the finals. Actually kind of surprised the Spurs held on and won it, but they did. The Nets just didn’t have it working for them. On a related note, commentators suck. Me and a two other guys were having a good time and making comments that were far funnier and wittier than those overpriced goons on network tv.Work again tomorrow, bleh. And yes, Michi did beat me in one round of Generals. It happens….especially when you’re holding back and trying not to whoop someone’s ass completely =)

Two day weekends seems short now
Yeah, so this weekend blew by.Friday, went out with friends from work to party. Had dinner downtown at a Thai/Vietnamese restaurant. Quite good. Cheap too. Bad thing was that there were thousands of bikers in for the weekend for some convention. That made traffic downtown ass shitty. It really was annoying getting around when you’d notice that half the roads were blocked off, without any warning. Traffic planners in Texas are just stupid.Saturday, went to hang out with my friend from UT, and caught some Indian buffet food. Knock curry all you want, but that shit is good =P Spent the rest of the day hanging out at my place playing Vice City. SNL was a funny rerun at least, so that made things better.My clothes came in on Saturday too, from the Gap. Nice stuff, makes me wonder why I would want to go into the store to try things out, especially if they have free shipping + free instore returns!Didn’t really make anything special for meals this weekend. The sushi from last weekend was quite enough =PStarted working on my picture system for my webpage. Things will shape up more as I get less and less lazy to code the pages =PCopying some new mp3s to my MD player now…needs new music to code to this week.I should have washed my car, but I got lazy =) Next weekend, I promise ;-)Didn’t really play Michi all that much in Generals this weekend. I’ll whoop her butt soon..hehehe. In the meantime, I’m getting further and further in Vice City. Its like Scarface in some regards….Another unproductive, and hot, weekend. On to the hot and hopefully more productive week O_o
